The 2011 NAPLAN tests will be held in all Queensland schools on Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 May. Principals and teachers are requested to avoid booking camps, excursions and sporting events for this period.

Registration is open for the 2010 Principals Forums, which will take place during Term 3. The main theme is The Australian Curriculum: Preparing for implementation. The forums are open to principals and deputy principals. Venues and an agenda are also available.

The report, Australian Curriculum K(P)-10 trial: Feedback from Queensland schools, outlines feedback from the 19 Queensland schools that trialled draft materials for mathematics, science, English and history.

Sample assessment instruments and annotated student responses, as well as advice about achievement standards and developing assessments for more than 20 Authority subjects have been published online since June.

Vision to Reality: Queensland's new education landscape is a conference for principals, teachers and educators to be held 27-29 April 2011 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Mark this date in your diary now. More information will be available in August 2010.

The QCE is Queensland's achievement-based senior school qualification. It is awarded to eligible students usually at the end of Year 12.

The QSA provides certified copies of certificates and other educational results held by us. To protect people's privacy, copies can only be provided to the person named on the certificate.

The QSA issues senior education profiles to students upon completion of Year 12, and to non-school students once they become eligible for a Queensland Certificate of Education.
