The Australian curriculum: Preparing for implementation

Principals and deputy principals.
Outline of program
This year, the major focus of the forums is The Australian curriculum: Preparing for implementation with two concurrent breakout sessions to follow the main presentation.
Participants have the opportunity to- develop and share knowledge and understanding of changing curriculum frameworks and requirements
- discuss issues to be considered in the development of school implementation plans to incorporate changed curriculum and assessment requirements
- network with colleagues from other schools to:

- establish shared understanding about changes to curriculum and assessment
- share ideas about how to implement the Australian curriculum
- develop and sustain collegial relationships and professional networks.
This forum has relevance to elements of the Professional Standards for Queensland Teachers (PSQT) - Standards One, Two, Three, Five, Nine and Ten.
