Draft K(P)-10 Australian curriculum materials
ACARA has released the draft K(P)-10 Australian curriculum for English, mathematics, science and history - for consultation until 23 May 2010.
P-12 assessment and moderation resources
To support a culture of moderated school-based assessment across P-12, the QSA is providing all Queensland schools with a suite of resources including two DVDs and a CD. Look out for these resources arriving in your school from 23 February.
Shared vision conference: Registrations closed
Due to exceptionally high interest, registration for the QSA's Shared vision: An Australian curriculum P-12 conference is closed.
A Flying Start for Queensland Children
The Queensland Government has launched a discussion paper on the future of education as part of its plan to provide all Queensland children with a flying start in life. It includes a proposal for a new independent education standards authority to set and monitor high standards for teachers and all schools across Queensland.

The second edition of the Year 10 Guidelines is now available in hardcopy or as a download. The Year 10 Guidelines are a curriculum planning resource. They provide practical information and advice to support the transition from Year 9 to senior schooling.

SunLANDA
The Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) has developed a Literacy and Numeracy Data Analysis tool called SunLANDA that schools can use to analyse the data from their students' performances on the NAPLAN tests.

P-12 syllabus and assessment framework consultation report
From June to September 2008 the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) undertook statewide consultation about the development of a P-12 approach to teaching, learning and assessment.

Indigenous perspectives research
QSA and QUT are working together to identify issues in Indigenous students' schooling experiences by examining other countries' experiences. Two international research papers are now available.

- QCAT trial extended
