Our organisation
The QSA is a statutory body of the Queensland Government. The QSA's peak decision-making mechanism is the Governing Body, whose members represent teacher, parent, union and higher education groups, and the State, Catholic and Independent school sectors.
Various committees provide advice to the Governing Body. Their membership is detailed in the QSA Annual Report.
Organisational structure
The QSA is organised into three divisions:
- The Teaching and Learning Division is responsible for curriculum policy, review and development.
- The Student Achievement Division manages moderation, testing, assessment, vocational education and training (VET), and tertiary entrance.
- The Corporate and Information Services Division provides corporate and support functions across the QSA, and manages the QSA's professional development activities.
