Handbook for Schools
This handbook provides detailed information on all aspects of the certificate, with sections on eligibility; certificate inclusions; quality assurance; how to write curriculum plans, statements of achievement and statements of participation; required software; and important dates.

Curriculum plans and eligibility forms
Schools must identify eligible students and programs of study by completing a curriculum plan and eligibility form (see below). These forms are due for all Year 11 and any new Year 12 students by 30 May 2008. Use one form per student. The QCIA Handbook has samples of completed curriculum plans. Schools should send the form, signed by the school principal, to the QSA and retain a copy in the school.
Statements of Achievement
Schools are encouraged to develop statements that reflect the individual educational achievements of students. The QCIA handbook provides guidelines for writing statements; the comments database provides a range of sample statements that can be searched by keyword.
