Recognised awards and certificates
Young people can pursue learning options in addition to those managed by their school. The QSA recognises a range of awards and certificates in areas such as music, dance, drama, sport and community development.

Recognised international learning programs
The QSA recognises achievement in international learning programs undertaken while enrolled in a Queensland school (for example the International Baccalaureate Diploma program).
Recognised school-based subjects (non-QSA)
Recognised school-based subjects are developed by schools but are not based on a QSA syllabus or study area specification (SAS).
