Literacy and Numeracy Indicators

Literacy and Numeracy Indicators describe expected learning in literacy and numeracy for students from Prep to Year 3 and from Year 4 to Year 9. They provide teachers with a resource to support planning for teaching, learning, assessment and monitoring across all key learning areas.

Literacy and Numeracy Indicators help teachers focus their teaching and determine where children require additional support.

A variety of assessment resources are being developed and will be available from the Assessment Bank.
