Business (2006) (Authority-registered subject)
This study area specification (SAS) includes a range of practical topics and VET qualifications designed to provide students with an understanding of the world of business in both public and private sectors.
This SAS offers 3 approaches:
- Approach A - VET certificates BSB10107 Certificate I in Business and/or BSB20107 Certificate II in Business
- Approach B - School-devised course of study over 4 semesters
- Approach C - VET certificate BSB10107 Certificate I in Business over 2 semesters and 2 semesters of units from the school-devised course of study

Study plans and AQTF registration
Approach A. Before offering the VET certificates listed in this approach, schools must ensure the courses or qualifications fall within their AQTF scope of registration.
Approach B. Schools must submit a study plan by the end of Term 1 in the first year of teaching the course.
