Years 1-10
The QSA develops key learning area (KLA) syllabuses for Years 1-10. We also provide professional development to help in their implementation.
The QSA is currently developing the Queensland Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) Framework. QCAR will define the Essential Learnings and Standards for Queensland schools, as well as assessment and reporting requirements.
The Essential Learnings and Standards will be embedded in the KLA syllabuses, which will be revised by 2009.
